Tens of thousands of miles just for unpacking? Remember me traveling across the ocean once: NETGEAR Netgear Orbi Mini RBK30 AC2200 Routing

**Preliminaries** The story began with a friend I had known for many years who had moved to the United States, commonly referred to as the U.S. When friends are far away, they often hope that their domestic friends and family will have the chance to visit (please forgive my wishful thinking). So, I thought, why not be the one visiting them? That’s how I started planning my trip to the U.S. Of course, choosing the right gift was also an important part of the process. During a casual chat, a friend mentioned that his home Wi-Fi signal wasn’t very strong. I asked what kind of router he was using, and I realized it was time to give him something useful. He then asked about the specifics of his setup—how big the house was, whether it had multiple floors, etc. If I hadn't asked, I might have been shocked. He didn’t know the exact size of the house, just that it had three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two halls. My God, so many bathrooms—why would anyone need that many? Later, I found out that houses in the U.S. are usually built this way. I still don’t get it. Since he didn’t provide any details, I asked him to send some interior photos so I could better understand the layout. There's a lot to consider when setting up a Wi-Fi network. After seeing the house, I realized that a basic router wouldn’t cut it. It had stairs and seemed like a two-story villa. So, I chose a more advanced solution suitable for such a setup. I looked into powerline routers, which use electrical wiring to extend Wi-Fi coverage. However, I noticed that powerline signals can weaken easily. I saw some reviews about certain models and decided to go with one that had good performance. You might wonder why I didn’t buy it directly from the U.S. Well, supporting the local economy is important, and also, I wasn’t sure about the foreign market. Plus, the voltage in the U.S. is 110V, which doesn’t match China’s 220V. But there are voltage converters available—so that’s covered. I ordered it through JD.com, and before sending it to my friend, I made sure the packaging was secure. The box was large, and the product features were clearly listed on the package. No need to explain further here. Once it arrived, I unpacked it and took some pictures. The router itself was impressive. The main unit looked sleek, and the design was modern. There were also some accessories included, like a network cable and power adapter. Inside, the components were well-organized. I used an online teardown guide to identify the chips. The main chip was a Qualcomm IPQ4019, which supports dual-band Wi-Fi and MU-MIMO technology. There was also a QCA9886 chip for 5GHz support, along with DDR3 memory and flash storage. The split router was smaller but equally powerful. It had its own set of antennas and internal components. The casing was sturdy, with a metal shield inside to protect the circuitry. Setting up the router was straightforward. The Orbi app was available on both Apple and Google Play stores, though it was in English. For users without access to these platforms, the web interface worked well too. The setup wizard was in Chinese, making it easier for domestic users. After installation, we tested the signal strength in different areas of the house. The results showed improved coverage compared to his old router. The signal was strong in most areas, even in the second-floor rooms where the previous router struggled. In summary, the RBK30 performed better than his old AC88U in terms of coverage. It looked nicer and fit well with the house layout. While it has some limitations, like no USB port or link aggregation support, it’s still a solid choice for a villa. Overall, it was a rewarding experience. Not only did I help my friend with his Wi-Fi, but I also got to see a bit of life in the U.S. and enjoy a meal at McDonald’s—because after all, you can’t come to the birthplace of the Golden Arches and not try it!

Solar Light Battery

Lithium iron batteries have revolutionized the solar street lighting industry, providing a reliable source of energy that is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. These batteries are rechargeable and designed to efficiently store and release energy, making them an ideal solution for powering solar LED street lights. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries have a longer lifespan and are much lighter in weight. This makes them a great choice for solar street lights, where weight and space are often at a premium. Additionally, lithium batteries can operate in extreme temperatures, from -20°C to 60°C, making them suitable for all kinds of environments.
