The integrated high-voltage power supply model QGT80A is designed with advanced high-frequency inverter technology, offering essential protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit safeguards. This compact module utilizes imported components combined with epoxy resin vacuum potting, ensuring a small footprint, high efficiency, and reliable performance. It is ideal for continuous and frequent operation.
1. **Pin Configuration**
The modular design clearly indicates the two thin wires as 220V input lines and the two thick wires as high-voltage output lines directly on the module body, making it easy to identify and connect.

3. **Working Principle**
The power supply operates through a series of stages: rectification and filtering, high-frequency oscillation, PWM pulse width modulation, half-bridge inverter circuit, and a high-frequency step-up transformer (T1). The PWM controller IC, SG3525A, is used for precise control. The oscillator frequency is determined by external timing components, and the output drives power switches VT1 and VT2 via T2, generating a square wave between 30–46 kHz. This signal is then stepped up to 10–40 kV using the high-frequency transformer. For optimal performance, power transistors should have a breakdown voltage of at least 500V, current rating of 6A, and low RDS, such as IRF840 or BU2331. Capacitors C2 are high-voltage aluminum electrolytic types rated at 450V, while C3 and C4 are metallized polypropylene capacitors rated at 250V. The step-up transformer uses an R2KB core, with primary windings of φ0.8mm enameled wire (60–80 turns) and secondary windings of φ0.15mm enameled wire (40–60 layers), insulated with 0.1mm film. The assembly is vacuum-potted with E51 epoxy resin at 70–80°C under a vacuum of 1330Pa.
4. **Applications**
This power supply is highly versatile, capable of operating across a wide voltage range from 5–40 kV, and can be configured for higher voltages using double voltage circuits or series connections.
- **Ozone Generation**: The high-frequency output enables efficient ozone production, suitable for large-scale systems using multiple units. Models like QGC-200 and QGC-1000 offer higher power options.
- **Ignition Systems**: The high-voltage output can produce arcs up to 30mm, ideal for fuel ignition in boilers or diesel engines.
- **Electric Pulse Generator**: By connecting high-voltage capacitors and diodes, it can generate powerful sparks and pulses, useful in industrial applications.
- **Negative Ion Source**: After rectification, it can be used in commercial settings to generate negative ions for air purification.
- **Welding & Cutting Machines**: The high-voltage arc starter allows non-contact ignition, improving safety and efficiency during welding operations.
- **Electrostatic Flocking & Spraying**: The power supply can reach 60–120kV when connected in series, making it cost-effective for industrial coating systems.
- **Dust Removal**: It supports various electrostatic precipitator configurations, with models like QGT-200A20 and QGT-200A40 available for different voltage requirements.
- **Enamelled Wire Soldering**: The high-voltage arc instantly melts the insulation, enabling fast and clean solder joints in motor windings.
- **Other Uses**: Suitable for electrostatic generators, static eliminators, educational demonstrations, and more.
This power supply is a flexible and robust solution for a wide range of high-voltage applications, combining efficiency, reliability, and ease of use.

(1) Check the original appearance of the circuit board. Pay attention to cleanliness and appearance inspection.
(2) Inspect the mask, including specified color, specified thickness, quality defects, and pitting.
(3) Is electroplating sufficient? Adequate electroplating is difficult to measure. If the requirements are strict, the current requirement is based on the plating thickness.
(4) Is the hole centered around the pad (annular ring and alignment)?
(5) Is the hole size correct?
(6) Does the appearance match the artwork?
(7) Does the steel mesh match the printing position of the circuit board?
(8) Is the overall circuit board size correct?
(9) Is the PCB warped?
(10) Is there copper on the edge of the PCB board?
(11) PCB tracking width tolerance.
