LeTV TV X65S: Install a Sofa Butler via USB Drive
[Installation Steps]
1. Download the Sofa Butler Installation File
2. Connect the USB Drive to the TV
3. Access File Management on the TV
4. Read the Files from the USB Drive
5. Complete the Installation
Step 1: First, visit the official Sofa Butler website and download the installation package. The download links are available at http://example.com (for versions V4 and V5).
Step 2: Copy the downloaded file to a USB drive. Insert the USB into your LeTV TV, but don’t open the file manager just yet.
Step 3: Navigate to “Settings†and choose “System Settings.â€
Step 4: Look for the “General†option and click to enter.
Step 5: Find the “Safe†menu and enable the “Unknown Source Application†option. This allows the TV to install apps from external sources.
Once enabled, you’ll see a confirmation screen as shown in the image below.
Step 6: Return to the main desktop and open “File Management.†Select “Storage Device,†then find “External Storage.â€
Step 7: Open the Sofa Butler installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
After the installation is done, your LeTV TV will be ready to run third-party applications. You can now enjoy various live and on-demand streaming services through the Sofa Butler app market.
If you encounter issues reading the USB drive, try formatting it to FAT32 (make sure to back up any existing files first) or use a different USB drive.
