The current MOCVD equipment investment indicates the future of the LED industry

Recently, all domestic LED expansion plans and LED new factory construction are inseparable from the ordering of large MOCVD equipment. There are days of opening, and there are real orders that will arrive soon. If only the following data is used as a reference, the market share of the two equipment manufacturers will be fine-tuned next year.

â—† According to Digitimes, in order to expand production scale, Taiwanese chipmaker Yuyuan plans to issue 150 million shares to raise about 163 million US dollars. By the end of 2010, the existing 43 sets of MOCVD will be increased to 81 sets; of the 38 sets of new equipment, 13 sets will be placed in Taiwan, and the other 25 sets will be placed in its affiliated Jiangsu Shengyang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. in July this year.

◆ AIXTRON has received orders from several companies since June, but the order volume is not large. At the end of June, Philips Lumileds added a set of AIXTRON G5 HT MOCVD reactors to produce LUXEON high-power LEDs for its San Jose plant. On August 17, Philips Lumileds placed another order to order several sets of AIX 2800G4 HT MOCVD LUXEON LEDs. At the beginning of June, Xi'an Zhongwei Optoelectronics ordered two sets of 31x2 〞CRIUS® production equipments to be delivered at the end of last year, and mass-produced high-brightness GaN LEDs. Similarly, Shanghai Lanbao subsidiary Yangzhou Longyao added several sets of 31× The 2 configured CRIUS epitaxial growth furnace will arrive in these two quarters. The six AIXTRON 55x2′′ CRIUS® II deposition systems previously ordered by Hangzhou Silan will be delivered from the end of this year to the beginning of next year.

â—† The Wuhu LED project invested by Sanan Optoelectronics ordered 50 sets of MOCVD equipment from Veeco. At present, it has paid a deposit of 16 sets of equipment. According to the agreement, the local government has received a subsidy of 57.6 million yuan. In addition, as early as April 8 and May, respectively, Wuhu received 10 sets and 30 sets of equipment subsidies of 30 million and 89.52 million yuan.

â—† Dehao Runda announced in early July that it will purchase 130 MOCVD equipment at a cost of 2.292 billion yuan, and will be placed in the LED industry bases of Wuhu and Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province in the future. Among them, Wuhu Dehao Runda Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary, will purchase 100 sets of MOCVD and accessory equipment (a ratio of 7:3) from Veeco and AIXTRON, respectively, and will be scheduled before the end of 2011 and before the end of March 2011, respectively. Delivery is completed; another wholly-owned subsidiary, Yangzhou Dehao Runda Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. will purchase 30 sets of MOCVD equipment from Veeco USA.

â—† Taiwan's Arima (Hua Shang Optoelectronics) purchased a number of TurboDisc K465i GaN and E475 As/P MOCVD equipment to expand production. Among them, most of the equipment will be placed in the joint venture production plant of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province and the local government; mainly for the LED-backlit LCD TV market.

â—† At the end of June, Guangdong Heshan Yinyu ordered a set of K465i MOCVD equipment from Veeco to support its LED production capacity in Jiangmen. The company plans to expand production to about seven times in the next three years.

The efficiency of radiator determine the performance of water cooling system directly,  aluminum not only has excellent heat dissipation, but also has the smaller density,
aluminum radiator lighter than the same volume of copper radiator. The heat dissipation performance of radiator mainly depends on two aspects, one is the thickness, the other is the spacing of fins. The FPI (Fin Per Inch) value is used as a reference. And the matching of the fan is also very important.
