The MAX8660 and MAX8661 are power management ICs designed by Maxim Integrated, specifically tailored for use in smartphones, PDAs, internet devices, and other portable electronics. These ICs offer four step-down DC/DC converters, three linear regulators, and one additional normally open LDO. Two of the DC/DC outputs are dynamically controlled to power the processor core and internal memory efficiently. This makes them ideal for applications requiring high performance and low power consumption.
