The survey was conducted by the Global Management Group’s electronic management magazine for the electronic information manufacturing industry. The survey shows that electronic product manufacturers expect the annual purchase of electronic components will increase by 26% year-on-year, of which 60% of components will be purchased through distribution channels and as many as 51% of manufacturers surveyed plan to increase distribution Proportion of business procurement.

As the basic unit of electronic information products, the significant increase in the purchase of electronic components year-on-year is closely related to the recovery in demand for electronic information manufacturing. Ministry of Industry and Information indicated that in the first three months of this year, the added value of manufacturing enterprises above designated size increased by 11.3%, 2.6% higher than the industrial average, and at the same time, the sales value, export delivery value, and domestic sales value of electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 9% and 3 respectively. % and 15.9%.

It is worth noting that the popularity of domestic domestic distributors is increasing. 41% of respondents stated that they tend to purchase components from local distributors, compared with 25% last year; the proportion of respondents who tend to purchase from distributors in the international, Chinese Hong Kong and Taiwan regions shows a downward trend.

At the same time, electronic component distributors are optimistic about the market prospects in the Mainland and Hong Kong. According to the survey, distributors expect the average annual sales growth rate to reach 22% on average, while the average sales growth in last year and the previous year will increase by 19% and 17% respectively; the surveyed distributors said that the average profit rate in the past year has reached 18%, compared with the previous year. The survey results increased by 5 percentage points.

The optimistic judgment of electronic components on the prospects is also reflected in the recovery of investment. According to the data disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the electronic device industry completed an investment of 76.4 billion yuan in the first four months, an increase of 31.5% percent year-on-year. The growth rate was 20.3 percentage points higher than that of the same period of last year, 17.5 percentage points higher than that of the entire industry, of which the investment in the integrated circuit field increased by 32.5%. Optoelectronic devices grew by 34.9%.

The aforementioned survey also shows that when purchasing components, more than 70% of the respondents' electronics manufacturers stated that the first consideration was the price of the product, which is probably the reason why local distributors and brands of components are increasingly favored. 59% of the surveyed distributors still tend to represent more international brands. Last year, this proportion was 68%. 28% of surveyed distributors said they would operate more local brands, which is an increase from 21% last year.
