Customers can choose to pay 10%-30% down depending on the type of goods they choose. For mobile phones, home appliances, desktop computers, office communications equipment and other products with a loan amount higher than 3,000 yuan, the down payment is 20%. For notebook computers and fashion electronic products with a loan amount higher than 3,000 yuan, the down payment is increased to 30%.

"Our application is very simple. Usually it will be approved in about an hour." Liu Kai explained, "The consumer only needs to show his personal identity card and another form of identity and complete the application form. After the approval, the company will arrange payment. Consumers can bring their favorite products home."

"Free lunch" or high-interest snare

Although it is convenient and quick, there is almost no requirement for the lenders (only an ID is required to add another kind of identification, such as a social security card, driver's license, or even a student ID card), but the Herald reporter has compared it to the bank's credit card fees. Also in Gome, China Merchants Bank has launched an installment payment business. The amount of money consumed ranges from 500 yuan to 50,000 yuan. If it is repaid in 12 installments, the fee will be 0.55% per month. Calculated in this way, the annual interest rate is only 6.6%, which is only slightly higher than the one-year bank loan interest rate.

On the surface, Gitzo's installment payment can be easily used by bank credit card users to purchase home appliances using installments, but in fact, the high cost is unbearable to ordinary consumers.

Yang Yinan, an account manager at a branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Jinan, believes that there is no free lunch in the world. As a business organization, Gitzo’s goal is to profit from each business.
