Similar to Batman French company pushing new modular drone

Whenever a drone was mentioned, most of the small partners would naturally think of it. They thought of a four-rotor propeller and then hung a camera underneath the fuselage. However, French people who have always been full of creativity and enthusiasm for life do not think so. Recently, Lehmann Aviation from France released a distinctive drone.

As shown in the picture, the LA series drone launched by the company has the cool styling of the Batman series and adopts the popular modular design elements. In addition to its futuristic appearance, it also boasts powerful performance. Official promotional video please click on the link .

Modularity is the most prominent feature. The autopilot module, wings, and cameras of this series of drones are all removable and replaceable. This makes the product very easy to carry and transport, and it also facilitates production and replacement. In addition, the LA series uses lightweight and high-strength materials such as aluminum alloys, carbon fibers, and foamed polypropylene (EPP) as the body, which ensures the strength while minimizing the weight of the body. The LA series modular drone has a total weight of only 1.25 kg with a wing span of 116 cm. The 4 rotors were removed. The aircraft was driven by a brushless motor propeller at the rear and also supported an automatic gliding landing system.

In terms of performance, the series of drones lasts up to 45 minutes and the range is 25 kilometers. The LA500-RTK model, which is suitable for high-precision mapping, features a Sony α6000 camera with a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor. The LA-500AG agricultural model is equipped with a Parrot multispectral Sequoia sensor dedicated to crop monitoring.

On the official website, Lehmann displayed the application of the LA series unmanned aerial vehicles in modern agriculture, map mapping, construction, minerals, and monitoring.

It is worth mentioning that the LA series is also equipped with the company's new OperationCenter flight control software, which supports running on Win10 touchscreen devices.

Currently, the aircraft's starting price in the US market is US$3,490 (base model), the LA-RTK model for mining measurement applications starts at US$5,890, and the farm-selling Sequoia camera costs US$7,990. All three models provide a one-year warranty, and the company said it will ship in the fourth quarter of this year.

On Lehman's website, we can also see that the company's LM series models with super long range and extreme environmental tolerance are under development. Let's wait and see.
