Rookie uses blockchain technology to upload import logistics information

Rookie, in collaboration with Tmall International, has launched a groundbreaking initiative leveraging blockchain technology to track, upload, and verify logistics information for cross-border imported goods. This innovative system covers the entire supply chain, from production and transportation to customs clearance, inspection, and third-party verification. Each product now receives a unique "digital identity card," allowing consumers to easily access and validate the authenticity of their purchases.

The program is currently active at bonded ports in major cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Ningbo, Chongqing, Fuzhou, and Zhengzhou. Over 30,000 products from more than 50 countries are now supported by this blockchain-based logistics tracking system, offering real-time visibility into the journey of each item before it reaches the consumer's doorstep.

Consumers can now check the full traceability details of their purchased items directly on the mobile Taobao app. By tapping the “View Product Logistics Traceability Information” button at the bottom of the logistics page, users can explore the complete history of their product, ensuring transparency and trust in every step of the process.
