Chen Junji: How to improve the value of LED lighting products

In view of how to improve the value of LED lighting products, Dr. Chen Junji suggested that participants can refer to two directions: First, focus on improving the brightness (efficiency) of light; Second, adopt dimming scheme to increase product differentiation. In the field of dimming, you can think in the following four directions: automatic brightness adjustment, temperature automatic balance control, manual dimming control, and motion sensing.

   1. Automatic brightness adjustment

By adding RALS to the circuit, it is possible to sense the intensity of the light source, adjust the amount of light, and reduce unnecessary energy waste.

   2. Temperature automatic balance control

For high temperature environment and closed luminaire design, adding RNTC to the drive circuit can sense whether the temperature of the luminaire is too high, gradually reduce the brightness of the luminaire, and lower the temperature, which helps to extend the service life of the whole luminaire.

   3. Manual dimming control

Second-order dimming (100%-30%) is currently used in many conference room situations. When meeting, you can use 100% full-bright mode. If you need to watch the slide, turn to 30% mode.

Fourth-order dimming (100%-70%-40%-15%) can choose appropriate brightness according to outdoor brightness, such as sunny, cloudy, dusk, etc., to avoid unnecessary energy waste.

   4. Mobile sensing

This application has been widely used in parking lots. When the vehicle enters the parking lot, the sensor can change the original 30% brightness to the full light 100% mode once it is sensed. With the simple power line control (Power Line Control), it is not necessary to adjust the original wiring, and the construction is quite simple.
