1 Introduction

The traditional three-phase four-wire smart meter solves the power supply requirements of high-voltage input and four-wire system, uses 3PCS power frequency transformer for voltage conversion, and then realizes DC voltage output through rectification and filtering circuit. The advantage of this scheme is cost. Low, the disadvantage is that it is bulky. At the same time, the operating voltages of three-phase four-wire smart meters vary greatly from country to country and from region to region. At present, some countries (such as China, Russia) have actual power supply voltages of 380VAC, while some countries (such as the United States) have reached 480VAC. If such a high supply voltage is directly connected to the 85-264VAC input AC/DC power supply through the line-line, the power supply will be damaged by overvoltage. As a result, conventional power supplies with 85-264 VAC inputs are no longer sufficient for this application. In order to meet the global single-phase or three-phase input voltage (100VAC~480VAC) and the small size of the smart meter, Jinshengyang has introduced a small-volume cost-effective switching power supply LS03-16BXXSS series with 90-528VAC input.

2, three-phase smart meter power solution

5, LO10-26D0512-04 three-phase four-wire power meter dedicated power supply

There are two ways to connect the meter to the grid, either directly or via a voltage transformer. If connected via a voltage transformer, the input voltage will be as low as 60V according to IEC 62052-11:2003. In order to meet the requirements of smart meter's lower input voltage and single-phase or three-phase input in the power industry, Jinshengyang has introduced a switching power supply with an ultra-wide input voltage range designed for three-phase four-wire power meter.

The LO10-26D0512-04 can operate at 65-460VAC or 90-650VDC ultra-wide input voltage, and meets the power requirements of rated voltage 380/220VAC (three-phase four-wire) and any two-wire operation. 6, application notes

LS03-16BxxSS series power supply, if it is needed in the electromagnetic environment, in order to make the product work stably and not easily damaged by electromagnetic interference, it is recommended to add corresponding EMC peripheral circuit to the power input port to meet certain indicators of electromagnetic compatibility.
